COP16/CMP6 Venue

The COP16/CMP6 will be held at the Moon Palace Hotel and the Cancunmesse, a new international conference and exhibition center. Both locations around Cancun, on the Cancun-Chetumal road approximately 7 km. (4.3 miles) apart.

Side Events will be held at the Cancunmesse.

The number of observers with access to the conference rooms in which governmental negotiations take place will be determined in accordance with United Nations practices. Secondary passes will be issued by the UNFCCC Secretariat to ensure orderly access to the conference rooms. The Mexican government does not control the issuance of these passes.
